Board Duties

President – 

  • Authorized to sign Association checks, contracts, permits and all official documents.
  • Presides over all meetings and of the Association and of the Board of Trustees.
  • Helps maintain the web page, along with the office staff
  • Oversees office staff and appearance
  • Review the quarterly newsletter, prior to publication (office to prepare newsletter)
  • Is the starting point of contact for most issues when the office is closed.
  • Helps with LLPOA Sponsored Events.
  • Animal complaints

 

V. President – 

  • Authorized to sign Association checks, contracts, permits and all official documents.
  • In the absence of the President, oversees the board meetings and performs the duties of the President.
  • Reviews all Lost Lake properties for property violations monthly; sending a report of violations to the office, and office staff to send out to homeowners.
  • Oversees pool operations in conjunction with Pool Manager.
  • Helps with LLPOA Sponsored Events.
  • Oversees office staff and appearance
  • Backup for water chair

 

Water Trustee – 

  • Authorized to sign Association checks, contracts, permits and all official documents.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of the water system.
  • Receives all water complaints, works with the water purveyor to recommend all maintenance and improvement needs to the Board and resolves all water issues with the assistance of the office staff.
  • Helps with LLPOA Sponsored Events.

 

Treasurer- 

  • Oversees all finance duties to include: Read financial report at board meetings, monitor all expense items paid and review monthly statements provided by the Bookkeeper/or CPA.
  • Reviews CD Maturities and determines whether to renew, re-invest, etc.
  • Helps with LLPOA Sponsored Events.

 

Architectural Trustee – 

  • Authorized to sign contracts, permits and all official documents.
  • Reviews requests for tree removal and authorizes tree removal permits.
  • Oversees new building construction within the association, including tree permits, garages, fences, be aware, ask for building permit from county.
  • Helps with LLPOA Sponsored Events.
  • Backup for president in dealing with animal complaints

 

Grounds Trustee – 

  • Authorized to sign contracts, permits and all official documents.
  • In charge of all lake issues include fish plant and fishing.
  • Grounds quality and organize Island Clean up.
  • Grounds contract
  • Helps with LLPOA Sponsored Events.

 

Secretary and Events Coordinator – 

  • Authorized to sign contracts, permits and all official documents.
  • Keep complete record of all of its acts and the proceedings of its meetings.
  • Heads up most LLPOA Sponsored Events.
  • Follow “Roberts Rules of Order”
